2 Cor 10:3-6
3 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 6 And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.
When you are on a spiritual journey, that is pursuing Christ, there will be challenges and struggles. You have to fight for what is important to you. That fight is what we would refer to as "spiritual warfare". Because it is spiritual, we do not wage war like you may naturally think about war. In fact are weapons are not man-made, they are divine. They have divine power to empower you to pull down strongholds. A stronghold is anything that has a stronger hold on you than Christ does. We cannot let a stronghold keep a stronghold on us. And we can't fight a spiritual battle with a natural weapon.
What are the things that have a hold on you today? Are you ready to pull them down? You have been equipped to win. The weapons you have are mighty through God. You may not see every spiritual enemy but you can defeat them. What is worth fighting for in your life?
