22And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, 23which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.
I sometimes allow the wrong voices to be heard in my head. It seems that my life consists of two unique voices...one that wants to hinder and one that wants to help...on that gives life and one that brings death...the voice of Judas and the voice of Jesus. The voice of Judas is self-seeking and self-absorbed. It causes confusion and leads to places where we hang it up!(no pun intended!) The voice of Jesus honors others and is considerate and kind. It brings encouragement and hope. That is the only voice that should be able to rise up to be heard in our life because the enemies voice and all that comes with it was placed under HIS feet. To be fully satisfied we need to be fully devoted to the voice of Jesus.
What are YOU listening to? Which voice rings loudest in your ears? Make sure it lifts you up and causes you to grow. Don't get "hung up" on the false promises of the voice of Judas. Keep evil under your feet and you'll never find yourself in over your head!
