God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort.4 He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.5 For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ.6 Even when we are weighed down with troubles, it is for your comfort and salvation! For when we ourselves are comforted, we will certainly comfort you. Then you can patiently endure the same things we suffer. 2 Corinthians 1
Often times we find ourselves in tough places and dark spaces where we need encouragement. God has connected us to the people in our lives for very specific reasons. One of them is to bring hope, peace, joy and comfort. When you have endured and pressed through a trial, you need to use what you have learned to help someone else. The fact of the matter is this: God comforts you so you can comfort another.
Don't get stuck gazing back at all you have gone through. Instead use what you know to help someone grow. Let God comfort you so you can pass it on today!
