"The essence of optimism is that it takes no account of the present,
but it is a source of inspiration, of vitality and hope where others
have resigned; it enables a man to hold his head high, to claim the
future for himself and not to abandon it to his enemy."- Dietrich
Bonhoeffer (1906-45),
All week long I have been filled to overflowing with hope. I have
been inspired to re-sign when others resign. I have looked up at the
stars while others look down at the cracks. And every day, each moment
I am laying claim to that which God promised me.
And here I sit on friday facing another fantastic weekend of
enthusiastic expectancy. Hope doesn't just float;hope sails!
