This Is It?

THE TIME HAS COME
THE TIME HAS COME
THE TIME HAS COME
IT IS NOW I SEE AND FEEL THAT CALLING ONCE AGAIN, TO BE PART OF A MUSIC THAT WILL NOT JUST CONNECT BUT,
MAKE ALL FEEL ONE, ONE IN JOY, ONE IN PAIN, ONE IN LOVE, ONE IN SERVICE AND IN CONSCIOUSNESS
MICHAEL JACKSON

Last night all over the world people gathered towards the music and the man. It was a world premiere that saw part of Michael's vision to connect and make all feel one come to pass. As I watched everyone gather in this celebration of a talented life, I could not help but think of another music that will usher in an incredible celebration.

The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18Therefore encourage each other with these words.

When our Lord and Savior comes back for the church (those that have confessed with their mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believed in their heart that God raised Him from the dead), there won't be enough screens in theaters around the world to portray His glory. It will be greater than any light show and stage theatrics. The glory of the Lord is going to be indescribable. Eye has not seen and ear has not heard all of the great and wonderful things that God has in store for His people.

As a musician, I do enjoy watching a charismatic entertainer use their God-given gift to lift up the spirits of others. To spread love, joy and peace through their harmonious performance and incredible talent. Hats off to Michael: MJ certainly did that. It was a spectacular premier and I have to say that This Is Something. But when Christ comes back, well, then I will say THIS IS IT!
