Losing Our Identity

2 Corinthians 10:12 We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves. When they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are not wise. One of the hardest things to do when you are unhappy, bored or disouraged is to not compare your life with someone else's. Some have called it a comparison trap. Oftentimes when we are idle or restless in our own lives, we seem to notice what is going on and into the lives of others. When this happens we lose our own identity. It's not wise to compare yourself to another person or your life to their life.  Don't fall into the trap of comparing yourself to others. You are exactly the way you are supposed to be. Don't let the weakness in you affect the greatness in you. You have been given all that you need to be the success that God desires for you. Settle down and settle in to that best version of you that we all want to see. You are amazing!

Tough Decisions Ahead!

Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God. 3 John 1:11
There is not a day that goes by where I do not say to myself, "what are they doing?" I am constantly amazed at the ignorance of people and the blatant disregard they have for each other. People do some strange things these days and many times they forget the simple instruction penned for us in God's Word-imitate what is good. There are only two teams to play on, good and evil. What YOU do will determine where you land.
Good things benefit others and ultimate will bring good things to you. Bad things harm others and bring no benefit at all. Why not consider today what kinds of things you are imitating. What team do you want to play for? It's up to you. There are some tough decisions ahead so...choose good!
