I always try to look on the bright side...for the silver lining...to remain positive in the face of adversity and negativity. Why? Because if you are going to spend time doing anything, spend it on something positive.
Today you may be faced with a variety of challenges. Things may not seem favorable and you may experience a high level of negativity. When things go wrong, don't go with them. Take a deep breath, and then reframe the negative thoughts with positive ones. And remember this, No one ever injured their eyesight by looking on the bright side.
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Philippians 4:8 NIV
