Temporary Situations

Your Reaction

Do not get upset with people or situations; both are powerless without your reaction.

Attractive Conversation

Attractive conversation draws people to you. It creates an environment for growth, hope and encouragement. And that is what every one of us needs today. So when you speak today, let your conversation be gracious and attractive. I believe that you will not only hear some amazing things coming out of your mouth, you will hear others being nicer as well.

Live the Dream

“All I'm saying is simply this, that all life is interrelated, that somehow we're caught in an inescapable network of mutuality tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly affects all indirectly. For some strange reason, I can never be what I ought to be until you are what you ought to be. You can never be what you ought to be until I am what I ought to be. This is the interrelated structure of reality." —Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. King is remembere d today for so many things and the common thread seems to be the idea of all types of people coming together. Why? Because we are all connected. We live in a time where people look out for themselves and decide that if they can take care of #1, nothing else really matters. That could not be further from the truth. Perhaps my future is connected to yours. My hopes to yours. My dream may not be realized until you see you have one too. The Creator made us all to function together. Our faith and beliefs

Rest

God enjoys giving rest to those he loves. If you are tired and worn out, the most spiritual thing you can do is REST! I am still trying to fully adopt this truth in my life!  Praying that you are able to rest and be refreshed wherever you are today!

Faith

Faith is a powerful force. I've seen miracles happen because there was faith. Some of those prayers that no one else knew about but me have been answered because of faith. And I have experienced a broken heart that became brand new because of faith. The Bible tells us that faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen. Hebrews 11:1. In other words, faith will manifest some incredible things as you use it. Faith can move a mountain of adversity out of your life. And it's important to know that without it, you cannot please the Lord. Faith is an undeniable, unswerving trust in something or someone you believe in. My faith is in Jesus. I have learned to rely Him because He is completely reliable and never lets me down. Jesus is always present in my times of trouble. Jesus never abandons me. Jesus walks through every situation with me and its because of Him that I can endure all the hardships life brings to me. Who is your faith in today? Maybe its

Want to Change Your Outcome?

If you want something different, you need to do something different. Someone once said that insanity is doing something over and over again and expecting different results. It often takes more time to and energy to see better results. Don’t get sidelined by the distractions or delays. Stay focused. Keep your eyes on the prize. Invest all of yourself and you will walk into the best for yourself.

Just Be You

Just Be You! You are fearful and wonderfully made.  You don't have to be perfect to be wonderful😊

Your Goal List

Well here we go! Another new year has begun! What a great time to take a look at your goal list and determine if you were in your right mind when you created it at the end of last year! I'm not talking about your new year resolutions...you've probably already abandoned many of those anyway! Oftentimes, our goals fall by the wayside too because we make some mistakes when we put our goal list together. I want to share three things that work for me each and every year and I hope they may help you to not only make the right goals, but achieve them as well. 1-  write them down When we write them down we create a way for us to periodically review them. Writing them down in a journal or notebook creates a way to help hold YOU accountable. You can track your progress bi-weekly or monthly too. 2-  be specific and add the details Sometimes we write down things like lose weight, read more, get a hobby. Being too vague gives us nothing solid to move towards. How about saying lose 10 pound

Happy New Year!

Praying God's favor and blessing over you and your family this year.
