His Way

No Lack

Another translation says it like this: The lions may grow weak and  hungry,  but those who seek (trust) the LORD lack no good thing . PS 34:10 Imagine today that you could live life in such a way that there would be no shortfalls. No shortfalls emotionally, physically, financially and spiritually. Sounds like a perfect way to move through the day doesn't it? Nothing missing and nothing lacking? Trusting in the Lord sets you up for the best possible life that you could live. When He is in control you can know that the people you meet, the conversations you have and the places you end up are being divinely guided or inspired. When you please the Lord, the Lord always pleases you. There is no lack because you have a new understanding that all things are eventually going to work out for your benefit because He is in control of ALL things and you have given Him control of YOU! So what are you thinking about today? Are you staying positive and trusting God? Have you fully surrendered t

As you start this day, take just a moment to thank the Lord for the breath in your lungs. You are here for another day because there is a plan for you; a purpose for your being. I know that there are difficult times and often things do not happen the way we thought they would. But that does not negate the fact that the Creator of the universe loves you unconditionally and wants the very best for you. Whatever has happened or is happening has divinely worked together to form the person that you are right now. That is the person the world needs to see. You can trust in the Lord. He is faithful. And His plan for you is good...very good!

Get Out There and Run!

Don't Be Afraid

You are...

Hefre is a little positive affirmation for you today! You are...

Gratitude is such a powerful force. It opens the door for every good thing to flow into your life. Take a moment and just look at all of the gratifying words in this image. Remember that what you appreciate will appreciate in value. Be thankful each and every day for all of the blessings that you have.  Gratitude = great attitude

Be a Light

It may not always be easy, but in every one of our relationships we need to be a light and not a judge. Think about what you can do to make another person's life better and do that. Light always eliminates darkness and we could all use less darkness in the world.

Persistent and Consistent

This quote features a couple very powerful words. Persistence, aka good ole fashioned stick-to-it-tiveness is a powerful tool that when used properly can open many doors. Staying the course when things get rough is often the place where you separate the winners and the losers. The second word, consistent, is one of my favorites. Maybe because I like a routine, knowing what I am doing and having some type of a schedule. Consistent people are able to be counted upon. Consistent methods are trustworthy.  If someone were to describe you, would either of these words be used?

July 4th, 2021

photo credit: Jordan Jones  Thanking the Lord today for the freedom that we still enjoy. It's getting more and more important to fight for the things that matter. I have to admit that I am sometimes a bit saddened by some of the things people fight for: like removing our flag, changing our motto ‘in God we trust’ and a variety of other things. Most of those things seem to deal with control and our desire to control everything. Here’s a bit of news that may set you free today: you don’t own anything!  God owns it all and our reason to live on this planet is to steward his things and his people well. When we realize that we really have no control, we will experience such incredible freedom. And we should always remember that "where the Spirit of the Lord is...there  is  freedom". Let's keep  that  Spirit in these United States of America. God bless this great nation! Have a great July 4th! Celebrate freedom and be safe!

Morning time is my favorite. When he world is still silent, my mind is freshly awakening and I'm completely rested from my sleep. That is usually when I spend time praying and journaling. Like the psalmist said, morning thoughts are enveloped in His unfailing love. I thank the Lord for His divine health flowing through my body and His divine breath filling my lungs. I list some things I am grateful for. And then I pray for family, friends and my day. And sometimes after these moments I take a walk and continue to pray about anything and anyone that comes to mind. In these quiet moments God settles my soul, refreshes and renews my spirit and guides me to what's coming up. It's easy to wake up startled, run around to get yourself ready for the day and then head out the door completely unsettled. What if you found a way to reboot yourself and prepare for whatever is in store for that day? What if some quiet time in the early hours brought you the joy of knowing His unfailin
