Just Be Yourself

  Just be yourself ❤️

Where I Am

So many times in my life I felt terrified by change. A new place to live, a new job, a new relationship; always had some excitement mixed with lots of anxiety. One day I realized that my anxiety was a result of my inability to believe that someone greater than myself was in control. When I gave my life to Jesus everything shifted. I learned to trust in the Lord and know that He would direct my path and orchestrate my steps. Now I let every new adventure inspire me because I am looking for something good to happen and not something bad. I can honestly say today that where I am is where I want to be!

A Meaningful Life

Be real, and humble and strong, and share yourselves with others. This is what makes life meaningful. Always remember that.

Just wanted to send you a little reminder to smile 😊

Some time ago I read an article about someone that was doing a daily gratitude journal . Today you can find many existing journals that have a space for you to list a few things you are grateful for each day. Until that time, though I would consider myself a grateful person, I never thought about listing out those things. If I am honest, I never really thought about gratitude that way. I began to do so and was overwhelmed by how many things/people/places in my life I might have often taken for granted. Stopping for a moment to give thanks for them and express my gratitude helped me to understand the power that it has. It's very hard to be angry and grateful at the same time. I believe my countenance and my attitude shifted. Try to write down some things you are grateful for this week each day. Let me know how you feel when you do. The more grateful you are, the more present you become.

Give Yourself

There are many people that feel like generous people because they have "stuff" to give: money, property, etc. To understand the true power of giving, we must learn to give ourselves. Our time and presence is the most important commodity we have. You devalue yourself when you think that a check is more important than uninterrupted attention.  Jesus taught us this. Consider ways to give of yourself and see what happens!

Here's a little reminder today for anyone that feels abandoned or rejected. Life is made up of seasons and filled with people that are in some of them and not in others. The key is to enjoy the season you're in and the people you're with because one day that will probably change. But there is one person that will never leave you feeling abandoned or lonely. His name is Jesus and when you are introduced to Him, you realize that there is no one who knows you better. His plans for you are good and He helps you to be the best version of yourself. He is a friend that sticks closer than a brother. If you've never had a relationship with Him, start today. It will be the best decision you ever make.

Be faithful to pray as intercessors who are fully alert and giving thanks  to God .  And please pray for me, that God will open a door of opportunity for us to preach the revelation of the mystery of Christ, for whose sake I am imprisoned.  Pray that I would unfold and reveal fully this mystery, for that is my delightful assignment. Walk in the wisdom of God as you live before the unbelievers,  and make it your duty   to make him known.  Let every word you speak be drenched with grace  and tempered with truth and clarity. For then you will be prepared to give a respectful answer to anyone who asks about your faith. COL 4:2-6 The Passion Translation

Wise Counsel

Your best chances at success when making a huge decision come with seeking wise counsel. You don't have to face anything alone.

Keep Going!

Life doesn't always move at the speed you desire. The key is to not get discouraged and to understand that the Lord will work out everything in your favor at just the right time. That's if you choose to follow His plan for your life. Don't try to figure it all out. Just keep walking and when the time is right, you will be right on time!

So many times in my life I have felt rushed, hurried and pushed to do certain things. The older I get the more I realize how important it is to understand "pace". God's timing usually seems so much different than mine simply because I am out in front of Him or frantically running behind Him. When I surrender my agenda for His, He calms me down. We begin to walk in step and that is where the sweet spot is. Slow down. Calm down. Don't worry. Don't hurry. Trust the process. His timing is perfect.

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?  PS 27:1 There is so much "darkness" around us these days. People struggle to break through it under their own power until they end up frustrated and exhausted. The fact is that you and I cannot defeat the enemies of our soul and eliminate the darkness on our own. We need the Lord. When we make a connection to THE LIGHT then we become a light in this dark world. Darkness must leave when the light comes. And fear has no power over us. Not because we are strong but rather because He is strong. Whatever your struggle is today, know that there is help, strength and you can be rescued: brought out of the darkness and into a marvelous light! You don't have to be afraid anymore. The prayer is a simple one....Lord, HELP! May the Lord be YOUR light and YOUR salvation today!

The Tide Will Turn

If you are walking through a tough patch right now, always remember that tides come in and they go out. So regardless of how difficult it may get, the tide will always turn. Make sure you never give up.

  Destiny depends on a decision

Happiness is situational. Joy is supernatural. The JOY of the Lord is MY strength!
