Better Together

One of the greatest gifts God gives us is the opportunity to share life with others. We were never meant to serve, lead, struggle, or celebrate alone. Community is where encouragement grows, burdens become lighter, and our greatest potential begins to emerge.

There is power when people agree in purpose and faith. Scripture reminds us that “a cord of three strands is not quickly broken” (Ecclesiastes 4:12). When we stand together, pray together, and serve together, we become stronger than we could ever be on our own.

This is especially important in an online community. Connection does not happen by accident. It takes intentionality. It means noticing people, asking questions, following up, praying for one another, and making room for real relationships. Being interested in people is one of the clearest ways we show them they matter.

Ministry can be rewarding, but it can also leave us tired and wounded. Serving on the front lines often brings challenges, disappointments, and unseen battles. That is why we need people around us who can encourage us, strengthen us, and remind us that we are not alone.

Romans 12:11-13 calls us to remain zealous, keep our spiritual fervor, serve the Lord, be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer. It also reminds us to share with those in need and practice hospitality.

When people know you are there, they feel cared for. Your presence, your prayers, and your willingness to walk alongside someone may be exactly what they need to keep going.
